The Espressivo system offers an exciting and novel approach to electric key action eliminating the headaches of mechanical contacts while offering amazing new musical possibilities. For the first time, the organ sound can be controlled by key velocity through dynamic couplers which engage in response to the player‘s expression.

Keyboard Assembly

The sensor units for 8 keys can be freely positioned on a special aluminum rail, making the Espressivo system adaptable to any common key compass. As the sensor units can be cut to 5, 6 or 7 sensors, the rail can be configured to match the total number of keys. The only modification to the keys themselves is a small magnet glued into place.

Programming

While classical mechanical contact systems using either contact wires or optical sensors require hours of delicate adjustment, the Espressivo system can be adjusted in minutes. A simple Windows® software or the economic tablet of the “starter kit” guide you through the simple steps. An interactive adjustment mode lets you adjust each key with live acoustic feedback.

Adjustment in the feild

For re-adjustments no mechanical access to regulations screws or contact wires is necessary. All adjustment functions are accessible from the maintenance tablet. This way, even organists themselves can adjust the keyboards precisely to their liking.
