The Direct Connect System

The slider control system for each and any solenoid. Solenoids shift slides and couplers in all kinds of organs. Some must move swiftly, some gradually. They're powered briefly, but occasionally all the time. Direct Connect can control them from one single point.

Features

Direct Connect Rack

The Direct Connect rack provides a convenient housing for either 10 or 20 cards. This provides a central point for wiring and service. The rack can take any combination of cards. Cards are also available for individual wiring without the rack if needed.

Dual Slider

The Dual Slider card provides control for two slider motors. A control voltage, either direct from a stop or via a relay, is fed into the card, which boosts the current to move a slider motor. Individual on and off coil drivers move the stop and then let it rest.

Dual Registration

The Dual Registration card is used when adding a capture system to a mechanical stop console. It acts as a power assist for the capture system moving the mechanical drawknobs when commanded by the pistons.

Dual Coupler

Dual Coupler control cards operate two mechanical couplers. Each output has a pull power and then a lower holding current to keep the coupler in place. All the time the coupler signal is energised the card holds the coupler in place and then releases it when the signal goes off.

Dual Luminous

If you need a stop on the console controlled by a reverser and lamp instead of a mechanically moving tablet of knob then the Dual Luminous card solves that by convincing the capture system that it is operating a mechanical stop and providing the reversing function locally.

Varipull

Each card is fitted with Varipull technology which provides power control for on and off movements. Varipull lets the builder tune the stops to be as responsive as possible and still be quiet.
